About Treasure Quest
I am the founder of Treasure Quest. I prefer to leave my real name a mystery, for now at least, but can be referred to as JHawk1881.
I am a normal, everyday person that has always been intrigued by puzzles and mysteries, especially those that end in treasure. I mean really, what is more fun than solving a puzzle that can make you rich?I am an avid fan of The DaVinci Code, Indiana Jones and probably know more about 'The Goonies' than anyone really should. The idea for Treasure Quest started a year or so after I began researching the 'Real World' treasure of Mr. Forrest Fenn. Mr. Fenn was an incredibly inspiring man and he lived a life of adventure. You see.... Forrest wrote a book entitled 'The Thrill of the Chase' which held clues to a treasure he hid in the Rocky Mountains. How cool is that? The search for the treasure lasted over 10 years and was finally located in Wyoming on June 6, 2020. The search brought thousands of people together and intrigued many, many more. Unfortunately, not longer after, Forrest past away on September 7th, 2020. He was an incredible person, war hero, and dreamer that the world will miss. He will forever have my thanks for inspiring me, and so many others, to enjoy life and have some fun. I know of no better legacy a person could leave.
So... I created Treasure Quest so that people everywhere can use their imaginations to create, or attempt to find, treasures big and small. There will be a small fee for creating each quest. A portion of each fee will be deposited to a Treasure Quest Trust, which will continue to grow until someone solves my quest. The cost to create an account and try to solve my quest is $20. My quest can be solved using resources at home, or on the internet, but it will not be easy. The person who solves my puzzle will earn it. Of that, I have no doubt. Your quest, should you choose to accept it, will consist of solving Five (5) riddles. Complete the 5th riddle and the questor will be presented with a page containing the Name and contact information for the Trustee of The Treasure Quest Trust and a code which must be given to prove they have completed all 5 Steps. Once authenication is done, all of the trust funds are yours.
(You have to deal with taxes though, I can't help that one)

Just interested in hosting your own quest? Absolutely!
Click the 'Create a Quest' link above and you can create one yourself. Again, there is a small fee and a portion of this will go to The Treasure Quest Trust as well.
Remember... while riches are great, it's the journey that's the real treasure. Goonie's Never Say Die!
